There is nothing I love more than the awareness of shared humanity that taking another's photo provides. I look through my lens as you gaze at the person you love most and realize that I too know how it feels to see and to be seen with such love. I see you catch your little one stumbling into the cradle of your arms with laughter and realize that I too have been caught by the gentle touch of my parents and felt their love and joy in calling me their own. I watch as you adjust your stance until you have made yourself feel confident, handsome, beautiful - and, in that moment, you know that no one can extinguish your light. I love the light that people have and I want to capture it and hand it back to you in a photograph so that you may always know the bright light that you bring to this world.
