kiara: fierce beauty

You know those people that you see every day and wave hello to, but don't really know? This girl is one of those hidden gems that exploded with radiance when we got together for this shoot. We jammed out to Beyoncé and took turns guessing Broadway show tunes. We obsessed over our mutual admiration and respect for our girl Tyra Banks, and she channeled the energy of America's Next Top Model like it was nobody's business. I'm lucky to have an excuse to spend time with people that I don't know. Taking photos is an incredibly personal thing, and it can so easily feel awkward at first. But Kiara took it as an opportunity to feel beautiful and revel in that feeling. I love nothing more than seeing people enjoy the skin that they are in and having the opportunity to get to know their story that gives them that beauty.
